UGSAS is based at Glasgow International Airport providing RAF UAS flying training to students from Universities in the Glasgow area.
The role of the UAS is to promote the Royal Air Force to motivated undergraduates who might be interested in a career within the RAF, whether in a flying or ground branch. This is acheived through not only flying, but with Sports, Adventurous Training and Ground Visits. There is even the possibility of travelling around the world on expeditions. UGSAS has visited Peru, Northern Spain, Southern France and the USA in recent years during summer expeditions! Also Norway and Norway for ski expeditions for winter expeditions.
