UGSAS is based at Glasgow International Airport providing RAF UAS flying training to students from Universities in the Glasgow area.
The role of the UAS is to promote the Royal Air Force to motivated undergraduates who might be interested in a career within the RAF, whether in a flying or ground branch. This is achieved through not only flying, but with Sports, Adventurous Training and Ground Visits. There is even the possibility of traveling around the world on expeditions. In recent years UGSAS has visited Peru, Northern Spain, Southern France, the USA, Italy and Norway to name but a few.
